Meg Baker, RN, BSN, Regional Director, Member Services

Meg Baker is a Member of the PinnacleCare Advocate team at The Cliffs Communities. She brings 23 years of healthcare experience to her PinnacleCare Members.

Prior to joining PinnacleCare, Meg worked at the University of Maryland Medical Center as a pre-transplant RN coordinator in the living donor kidney program. She was responsible for the coordination of multidisciplinary care and advocacy for kidney and pancreas transplant patients and potential living kidney donors. Meg participated in patient selection committee meetings and community outreach activities.

Meg also worked at St. Josephs Medical Center in Towson, Maryland as a staff nurse in the endoscopy center. She was responsible for providing direct patient care in admissions, procedure room and recovery room.

Before working with St. Josephs, Meg worked at Mercy Medical Center for 14 years. She began her career there as a staff nurse in the Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She then went on to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in the NICU/Newborn Nursery. She was responsible for providing care and support during high-risk deliveries. In the Newborn Nursery, Meg conducted admission and discharge physicals, participated in daily medical management and provided patient education. Meg then became a staff nurse in the General Operating Room. She participated in multi-specialty General Operating Room procedures, with particular emphasis on breast reconstructive surgery, GYN, and Urology.

Meg graduated from Towson University in Towson, Maryland with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing. She is a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, and holds a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification from Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
