Dr. Veach is currently the Clinical Director of International Oncology Programs at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, New York, where he advises international patients and their physicians regarding the broad range of cancer therapies. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of cancers, although he has a special interest in unknown primary tumors and lung cancer. In addition, Dr. Veach is an Associate Clinical Professor at Cornell University Weill Medical College in New York.

He earned his medical degree from University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois. He served as an intern at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago and then in Flight Surgery at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Florida. He continued his residency and fellowship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland in internal medicine and hematology/oncology. Three years after completing his fellowship he became the head of the National Naval Medical Center’s Oncology Division.

Dr. Veach has been a member of many scientific and medical societies including: American Society of Clinical Oncology, American College of Physician Executives, American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Association for Cancer Research and American Cancer Society Professional Education Committee. He served as the coordinator as well as a member of the Advisory Board for the National Cancer Institute. Since 1997, he has served as an oncology consultant for the Young Presidents and World President Associations. He also sits on the Ethics Committee for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Veach was honored with the prestigious Presidential Meritorious Service Medal in both 1988 and 1991.

His clinical experience includes: Lung Cancer, General Medical Oncology; Breast, Gastrointestinal, Gynecologic, and second opinion consultations.
