How do you select physicians? Our PinnacleCare Advocates rely on many sources to obtain information about physicians. This includes our Medical Advisory Board, various databases on grants and research articles, and our Members themselves who have had superior experiences and successful outcomes. Physician recommendations for our PinnacleCare Members are then further tempered by what our Members want, including characteristics like male versus female, nearness to their home, aggressive versus more conservative approaches, complementary recommendations, etc. In other words, our Member’s needs and preferences are a significant factor in physician selection. We always give our Members options when choosing a physician, and the Member's wishes are always paramount. There is never only one option.
