Why do doctors and hospitals accept PinnacleCare Members preferentially?PinnacleCare is promoting the practice of medicine the way most doctors prefer to practice it – with the focus on the individual, not the hospital, the employer or the insurance company, whose interests frequently conflict with the long-term best interests of the patient. The doctors and hospitals know, that with the management of their PinnacleCare Advocate Team, a PinnacleCare Patient will arrive prepared, with all their records and forms, and their questions prepared. We have formal agreements for this type of preferential treatment with many leading Centers of Excellence. Our Members, with the help of their PinnacleCare Advocate, are generally treated in a preferential manner at hospitals where we do not have a formal agreement. Our Members are frequently affluent, well-connected and educated individuals. They are philanthropists, involved in their communities. They frequently pay usual and customary charges, so there is no administrative issue for the doctor or hospital concerning insurance issues. If our Members are pleased with the care they receive, they may then choose to fund the operations or research of the physician or the institution.
