What happens if I have an emergency? If you feel you have a medical emergency such as chest pain, loss of consciousness, heavy bleeding, loss of vision, etc., get immediate care wherever you are. As quickly as possible, you or someone with you should notify PinnacleCare so we can transfer relevant portions of your medical records to the treating physician or hospital and assist them and you. We will consult with you and your physicians once your condition is stabilized to determine whether further treatment is required. If so, we will research your treatment options and provide them to you. We will help you decide which is the best course of action and then begin setting up appointments and working with you on travel and accommodation arrangements. If your condition does not permit travel, we will arrange for medical evacuation and phone consultation with a top physician so that no matter where you are, you are still receiving the best care possible. (Emergency medical evacuation is included in certain memberships.) Back to Ask PinnacleCare: Questions about Services
