PinnacleCare can help your parents lead their healthiest lives

Helping your aging parents lead healthier lives could easily be a full time job. And if you don’t live nearby, you probably spend many sleepless nights worrying about whether your parents are getting the care they need.

PinnacleCare can take that worry off your shoulders. The “For My Parents” Membership provides your parents with a caring Advocate who manages the complete health care process to ensure your parents receive quality, coordinated care and 24/7 support. The process begins with a specially tailored geriatric health assessment that includes:

  • Collecting and assessing their complete medical records
  • Detailed review of their medical history by a geriatric specialist

Your parents’ Advocate also schedules and coordinates all appointments, monitors care and acts as a liaison to make sure there is consistent communication between multiple physicians. Professional coordination of medical bills and insurance claims is also handled by their Advocate.

One of our Members recently shared these thoughts on how giving a gift of PinnacleCare to her mother was also a gift to herself.

“My 79-year old mother had become increasingly forgetful, dizzy and weak. Conflicting diagnoses and multiple medications prescribed by various Medicare physicians did little to make us believe the situation was under control. I knew that I did not have the experience or time to manage my mother’s health care by myself. As a PinnacleCare member, I already was familiar with the level of responsiveness and personal care they provided, so I decided to purchase a PinnacleCare Membership for my mother. By doing so, I was confident an experienced PinnacleCare Advocate would take control of this frustrating situation.

My mother’s PinnacleCare Advocate scheduled a thorough exam and had her medical records reviewed by the head of Geriatrics at a major local hospital. Afterwards, we received an accurate diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and a comprehensive treatment plan. We were able to improve my mother’s focus, general health and quality of life to help her better enjoy time spent with family.

I strongly believe giving my mother a PinnacleCare membership was the best gift that I ever gave to both my mom and myself.”
