Prominent physicians expand the expertise of PinnacleCare’s Medical Advisory Board

PinnacleCare recently welcomed five new members to its Medical Advisory Board:

  • Dr. Amar Gajjar, a world renown Pediatric Neuro-oncologist, is the Director of the Neuro-oncology division at St. Jude Children’s Research Center. Dr. Gajjar Co-chairs the Department of Oncology and is one of the Co-leaders of St. Jude’s Neurobiology and Brain Tumor program.
  • Dr. Martin Wolfe, an internationally recognized tropical medicine specialist is Director of the Traveler’s Medical Service of Washington, a Consultant to the State Department and is considered the father of travel medicine as a discipline.
  • Dr. Michael Van Doren Johnston, a distinguished Pediatrics and Neurology specialist at Kennedy Krieger Children's Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dr. Johnston is the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Kennedy Krieger. Dr. Johnston is also the Director of the Neurology & Developmental Medicine and Neuroscience Laboratory at Kennedy Krieger Institute.
  • Dr. David Rubin, a widely recognized Gastroenterology Specialist and expert in Inflammatory Bowel Disease at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Rubin is the Program Director for the Fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Chicago.
  • Dr. Richard A. Jonas, a pioneer in the field of corrective cardiovascular surgery in children, is the Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery and Co-Director of the Children's National Heart Institute in Washington, D.C. Dr. Jonas has developed and taught many of the pediatric cardiovascular surgery techniques used today.
