"I was at my wits’ end in trying to find qualified physicians for my family. My job requires me to move around a lot. With each move, my wife and I found ourselves spending hours on the phone trying to connect with primary care physicians and then arranging check-ups and follow-up appointments that met our busy schedules.

Most of the time, after we grew accustomed to the area, through friends’ referrals, we would eventually find physicians closer to our home. But then they might not work out and we’d have to begin the hunt again. Then, with a move, the process would start all over again. I knew there had to be better way. That’s why we became Members. I liked the idea of having PinnacleCare do all the legwork and research and collect all of our medical records and get them to the various doctors to save us the time and effort. We are an active family, and we want to do everything we can to stay well and be proactive - no matter where we are.

What I’ve found is that through my PinnacleCare Advocate Team I can get important information about physicians, treatments and medical practices that I can’t get on my own – information that helps us make informed decisions about our health care. I like knowing where my doctor went to school, where he trained, what certifications he holds and what his particular specialty is. In fact, PinnacleCare found me a physical therapist near my home that specialized in a certain technique practiced by the physical therapist near my other home, who had helped me make great progress in rehabilitating an injury. Remarkable!
