Andy Beal joined PinnacleCare in September 2007 as the company’s Chief Information Officer. He is primarily responsible for developing, implementing and leading all information technology initiatives, with the goals of supporting the business operations to improve the quality of service, cost effectiveness and business development plan.
Andy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Prior to joining PinnacleCare, Andy served for several years as a Senior Network Engineer and Team Leader for an IT consulting firm. He managed 13 network engineers and was responsible for roughly 160 clients in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In this position, Andy was responsible for the planning and execution of all projects for his team’s clients and performed Chief Information Officer-level audits as a service that supplied recommendations for future growth and security concerns for their clients’ IT infrastructure.
Since joining PinnacleCare, Andy has helped lead the company in a host of projects, including the design of PinnacleCare’s core database application that fully integrates several service applications into one, as well as the production, testing and release of PinnacleCare Electronic Health Records. He also oversees PinnacleCare’s Health Information Management department and all IT-related projects.Complete Executive Team List
