PinnacleCare Expands Concierge Reach With Key Hires

Strategic new hires cultivate partnerships with wealth advisors and employers

BALTIMORE, MD – July 10, 2015 – PinnacleCare, a leading health advisory firm, announces an expansion of resources to help guide consumers through the rapidly changing health care environment to access the care that they need. This addresses a growing gap as consumers are being forced to take a more active role in their own health care decisions, often without the benefit of knowledgeable resources and top medical experts to help inform and guide their decisions. PinnacleCare has hired seasoned industry leaders – Deanna Rodriguez as Executive Vice President and Steven Dunleavy as Senior Vice President of Sales – to expand its concierge-level support for patients and their families as the company aligns with this evolving healthcare landscape.

Todd Martin, chief sales and marketing officer, references this as a strategic move to expand the company’s reach to more families in need of health advisory support through family office, wealth advisor, and large employer partners.

With more than 29 years of wealth management experience, Deanna Rodriguez has joined the PinnacleCare executive team to lead sales strategy, growth and thought leadership through continued extension of PinnacleCare health advisory services to trusted advisors and their clients. Prior to joining PinnacleCare, Deanna worked as the executive director for Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management where she was responsible for building out their family office concierge services model.

“In wealth management, I have found the top two concerns of clients to be: ‘Will I run out of money?’ and ‘Will a health issue cause me to be a burden to my family?’” said Deanna Rodriguez. “Traditional planning now needs a health advisor on the team to address the health drivers and decisions that are of growing concern to aging clients – their wealth and their family’s health.”

With more than 25 years in the pharmacy benefit space, Steve Dunleavy will serve as Senior Vice President of Sales for PinnacleCare Connection to cultivate strategic relationships with benefit advisors, brokers, and human resource executives, across various market segments. Steve will drive growth of PinnacleCare Connection services as a value-add to employer group benefit offerings that empowers employees to make more informed decisions about their health. Prior to joining PinnacleCare, Steve worked in the pharmacy benefit space for Express Scripts/Medco Health Solutions and CVS Health/Caremark, where he served in various sales and account management leadership roles.

“We are thrilled to have Deanna and Steve onboard the PinnacleCare team,” said Bruce Spector, co-founder and chairman of PinnacleCare. “This will expand our reach through trusted advisor channels and employer group benefit programs – extending health advisory services to more families in need of our services.” Bruce believes the new additions will grow the company’s mission to help members realize their highest expectations for health and wellness.

For more than 14 years, PinnacleCare has been connecting members with top specialists and guiding families through their healthcare challenges.
