Todd Martin is Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for PinnacleCare, responsible for accelerating growth and profitability through the development of new and existing distribution channels. Since joining PinnacleCare in 2012, Todd developed the go to market sales strategy for PinnacleCare’s group model that currently supports over 2 million lives. He has also developed partnerships with several strategic partners in the employee benefits and insurance markets.
Todd has over 30 years of experience in various sales/account management, and P&L leadership roles, primarily serving the needs of healthcare decision-makers across several markets that include Fortune 500 companies as well as health plans, unions, and government entities. Todd has spent 25 years in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry and 7 years in the group insurance market.
Previously, for Medco, Todd successfully led efforts with Towers Watson (now Willis Towers Watson) in developing the Towers Watson Rx Collaborative, a group purchasing organization representing over 30 national employers and $3 billion in drug spend. Prior to joining Medco, while Baxter Prescription Service spun off from Baxter Healthcare Corporation and became Caremark Prescription Service, he led sales growth by developing new vertical markets. Todd worked with large national employers, labor organizations, and several Federal Employee Health Benefit Plans (FEHBP) under the oversight of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
